Ms. Santiago obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2011, where she graduated eighth in her class. She was a member of the Order of the Purple Feather and was awarded the Dean's Medal for Academic Excellence. She was a recipient of the CJ Fred Ruiz-Castro Foundation Scholarship and the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines Scholarship.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Life and Child Development also from the University of the Philippines - Diliman.
She joined a reputable full-service law firm based in Bonifacio Global City in 2012 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in the same year. In 2013, she chose to join Cruz Marcelo & Tenefrancia, where she worked as an Associate until June 2015. She worked as a foreign attorney for a Japan Patent and Law firm from 2015-2016 where she was involved in patent prosecution, intellectual property recordals and assignments, licensing, contract review, labor and anti-trust matters.
She rejoined Cruz Marcelo & Tenefrancia in January 2017.
