Professional Background

Ms. Padilla is a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. Her practice focuses on trial advocacy, civil and criminal litigation, commercial and banking litigation, labor and employment litigation, estate and family law, and appellate practice. She is likewise a member of the Tax Litigation Group of the firm.

Ms. Padilla earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo Law School in 2010 where she authored a thesis entitled, “The Day After Tomorrow: An Application of the Theory of Rebus Sic Stantibus to a Collective Bargaining Agreement”. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2011.

Ms. Padilla holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Law and Politics from Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan, as a Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholar under its Young Leaders’ Program. She interned with the Fukuoka International Law Office in Japan and the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (ROAP) in Hong Kong, SAR. She authored and defended a thesis entitled, “To Do or Not To Do: Institutionalizing Corporate Criminal Liability in the Philippines”.

She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce with a major in Legal Management from the De La Salle University where she graduated in 2005.
