Professional Background

Mr. Fragante is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Law Department. He regularly advises clients on, among others, investment structures and protection, tax, nationality restrictions, compliance and governance, government procurement, property development, employment, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Fragante has also drafted and successfully negotiated with banking institutions various loan agreements.

Mr. Fragante has likewise assisted in a number of M&A deals and has acted as counsel for various companies in their acquisition of property and real estate. These projects required legal due diligence, contract negotiation, implementation, and amendment, management of internal revenue tax and local tax issues, dealings with local government units, dealings with Philippine regulators and other government agencies.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Fragante is able to provide comprehensive advice to clients on various matters relating to banking & finance, compliance with revenue regulations and other regulatory requirements, and the prosecution of tax protests and refunds before the Bureau of Internal Revenue, and the Court of Tax Appeals.

Mr. Fragante obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2012, where he graduated with Honors. He was subsequently admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2013.

He likewise graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the De La Salle University of Manila where he graduated with Honors in 2007. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 2008.
