Mr. Mendiola obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2024. He was a member of the Order of the Purple Feather Honor Society and served as the 4th Year Batch Representative in the UP Law Student Government. He also served as an Editor in Volume 97 of the Philippine Law Journal.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communication from the University of the Philippines Diliman, graduating Cum Laude in 2019. During this time, he served in the student council of the College of Mass Communication and was a member of various political and student-led organizations.
