Ms. Dimaliwat is an Associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department, where she primarily handles patent and trademark prosecution, litigation, and enforcement. She assists local, multinational, and foreign corporations with their patent and trademark applications and manages their intellectual property portfolio, including registrations and applications in other jurisdictions.

She has represented leading companies in the real estate, hotel management, retail and manufacturing, personal care, and fast-moving consumer goods industries in trademark opposition proceedings, and successfully prosecuted a trademark opposition case on behalf of one of the world’s largest international tobacco manufacturers. She has also rendered legal opinions on the enforceability and validity of patents for top local pharmaceutical companies and has drafted patent applications for Filipino inventors, a government agency, and a Philippine state university.

She completed the 2025 Patent Agents and Patent Attorneys Training Course conducted by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, an intensive program on patent drafting, prosecution, defense, and representation. She also attended the 2024 World Intellectual Property Organization-Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines Summer School in Emerging Economies, a comprehensive training program focused on the intellectual property system and its role in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals in emerging economies.

Ms. Dimaliwat earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2022, where she was awarded the Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence. In 2017, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management of Applied Chemistry degree from the Ateneo de Manila University, where she was a scholar.
