Mr. Doceo obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines (“UP”) College of Law in 2022, where he was awarded the Salvador T. Carlota Prize for Best Paper in Administrative Law and the Law on Public Officers for his supervised legal research entitled, “Reexamining the Power of the Commission on Audit to Disallow Illegal, Irregular, Unnecessary, Excessive, Extravagant or Unconscionable Expenditures.” He served as editor of the Philippine Law Journal Volume 94 and was cited with Excellence as an intern at the UP Office of Legal Aid for two semesters.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, cum laude, from the University of Eastern Philippines in 2013. He became a Certified Public Accountant in the same year.

While a law student, he worked as a state auditor at the Commission on Audit, where he was heavily involved in contract reviews of government infrastructure projects.

He was admitted to the bar in 2023.
