Mr. Belmonte obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law – Diliman in 2024, where he was awarded the Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence.

As a law student, Mr. Belmonte was a member of the Order of the Purple Feather, the official honor society of UP Law. He worked as a Research Assistant at the UP Institute of Human Rights. He also interned at several top law firms in the Philippines, as well as at the UP Office of Legal Aid and the Office of the Solicitor General, where he passed with distinction.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, graduating Cum Laude in 2020.

Mr. Belmonte was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2025.
