Mr. Tan attained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2023, where he was awarded the Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence. During his time in law school, he served as Head of the Academics Committee of UP’s Bar Operations Commission for the 2022 Bar Examinations. He also served as an intern at the Office of Legal Aid. In 2022, he worked as an apprentice in various law firms.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2019, where he graduated cum laude.

He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023.
