Asia Business Law Journal has named four CMT partners in its first ever edition of the Top 100 lawyers in the Philippines: name partners Simeon V. Marcelo and Joe Nathan P. Tenefrancia, and senior partners Manuel L. Manaligod, Jr. and Patricia A. O. Bunye.
“The A- List” is based on nominations from thousands of in-house counsel in the Philippines and Philippines-focused partners in international law firms, supported by Asia Business Law Journal’s extensive documentation and analysis of the Philippine legal market.
In their editorial piece, Asia Business Law Journal gave further recognition to Atty. Marcelo, who previously served as Solicitor General and Ombudsman, among lawyers with a ‘rich variety of expertise’; and Atty. Bunye, who is the third female and the first Filipino and Southeast Asian president of the Licensing Executives Society International, among the ‘A- List Women Lawyers’.
Comments submitted to Asia Business Law Journal reflect a premium on lawyers with a proficiency in providing strategic advice and tailored solutions enriched by an extensive knowledge of the law and exceptional communication skills amidst a challenging legal landscape.
