Professional Background
Mr. Evangelista is a senior associate with the firm’s Mining and Natural Resources and Energy Departments. Prior to admission to the Philippine Bar, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1997 and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines in 2007. His practice experience includes acting as legal counsel for several major power generation companies before the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) as well as representing diverse clients, including international insurance, financial and banking institutions, with varied civil litigation, criminal litigation and appellate concerns. He has likewise represented numerous clients in labor related disputes before the National Labor Relations Commission. He has been a professorial lecturer on appellate practice at the New Era University College of Law since August 2017.
