SEC Defers Implementation of SEC MC No. 17, Series of 2018, on Beneficial Ownership Disclosure, to 31 July 2019

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), pursuant to SEC En Banc Resolution dated 27 June 2019, has issued a Notice deferring implementation of the new requirement of disclosure of beneficial ownership information in the General Information Sheet under SEC Memorandum Circular (“SEC MC”) No. 17, Series of 2018, to 31 July 2019.

Prior to the said effectivity date, the SEC shall be issuing clarifications or amendments to SEC MC No. 17, Series of 2018 to guide compliance with the said requirement.
