Mr. Hernandez earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2020.
As a law student, he served as a member of Editorial Board of the Philippine Law Journal Volume 92. He also competed in the 2019 and 2020 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition where he was a two-time National Champion, Best Oralist of the Championship Round, and a World Quarterfinalist. In the 2019 Jessup, he was ranked as the Overall Best Oralist of the Philippine Rounds and the 12th Best Oralist of the International Rounds held in Washington D.C. In 2020, he won the After Jessup competition following the cancellation of the 2020 Jessup International Rounds due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was also the Champion in the 2019 Asia Cup Moot Court Competition.
Mr. Hernandez obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2016. He was the 2016 Asia and the Pacific Champion and World Finalist of the Chartered Financial Analyst-Institute Research Challenge held in Chicago, Illinois, and the National Debating Champion of the same year.
Mr. Hernandez was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022.
