Professional Background:
Ms. Garcia acts as advisor on various tax matters relating to cross border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and re-structuring, and domestic taxation, of both local and international corporations. She also assists foreign-owned corporations in registering their projects and securing a pioneer status with the Bureau of Investments for purposes of availing tax and other fiscal incentives.
Ms. Garcia has also a growing experience in government procurement, public-private partnerships, and government project development.
As a Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Garcia is able to provide a holistic approach and advise to clients on matters relating to the tax assessments conducted by the Bureau of Internal Revenue. Further, with her background in accounting, she is able to assist in financial model reviews.
Ms. Garcia obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2016, where she graduated with Honors and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2017. She took her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the University of Santo Tomas and graduated in 2011. She became a Certified Public Accountant in the same year.
