Cruz Marcelo & Tenefrancia (CMT) was named Philippines Copyright Firm of the Year in the 2020 Asia IP Awards, the 6th time it has received this distinction, as it has previously been recognized from 2014-2018.
The Asia IP Awards honor the very best law firms from around the region for demonstrating the highest standards in intellectual property work over the last year. Firms are asked to submit details of key cases they have worked on in the preceeding 12 months in IP-related fields.
In determining the winners, Asia IP sends a shortlist of firms to over 5,000 in-house counsels in Asia, Europe, and the Americas who actively protect their intellectual assets in Asia. These corporate counsels rank the shortlist, and it is these votes that determine the winners.
