Cruz Marcelo & Tenefrancia (“CMT”), in partnership with King & Spalding (“K&S”), hosted a seminar on Arbitration on 26 July 2019 entitled “Protecting the Interests of Philippine Companies Through Arbitration”. The seminar was held at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
CMT Partner Jacques S. Lynn hosted the event and delivered the welcome remarks. Thereafter, Ambassador Benedicto V. Yujuico delivered a Keynote Speech where he highlighted the importance of arbitration in the business sector. He also praised both CMT and K&S on their respective contributions to the business sector through their arbitration practice.
In the Arbitration Seminar proper, CMT Senior Partner Elmar B. Galacio delivered a lecture on Key Considerations in Filing an Arbitration Case. Thereafter, K&S Partner Wade Coriell delivered a lecture on Choosing the Seat of Arbitration and Arbitral Institution. After the lectures, a panel discussion was conducted where the audience asked question from the panel. The panel was composed of CMT Partner Elmar B. Galacio, and K&S Partners Wade Coriell and Elodie Dulac.
More than a hundred of CMT’s valued clients attended the successful event.
