Professional Background

Ms. Defensor obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2021.

As a law student, she competed in the 2019 John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition and was awarded Finals Best Oralist and Semi-Finals Best Oralist. Her team was also the overall champion of the Asia-Pacific Region. In 2020, she competed in the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition where her team won Best Memorial for the Respondent, Best Overall Memorial, First Runner Up, and qualified for the international rounds. She was also awarded Overall Best Oralist.

Ms. Defensor earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2017.

She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022.
