Allen Jeil L. Gerona

Mr. Gerona is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property department. In his practice, he handles intellectual property Inter Partes cases and cases involving violations of intellectual property rights before the Philippine Intellectual Property Office and the trial courts. He is also actively engaged in both domestic and foreign trademark and patent prosecution, trademark and patent searches, intellectual property enforcement, valuation and licensing. Mr. Gerona is also conversant in Japanese and is a member of the firm’s Japan Desk.
Mr. Gerona obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2015, where he graduated with honors. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, minor in International Business and Japanese Studies from the same university where he graduated in 2011. He joined Cruz Marcelo & Tenefrancia in 2016, the same year that he was admitted to the Philippine Bar.
